Bonitas Tax Certificates

This is a reminder that tax season is here, and it can be a stressful time for many. To make getting your tax certificate easy, you can follow the steps below to download your Bonitas 2023 tax certificate from any of our digital platforms. Our digital channels are available 24/7 for ease of access. Please note the tax season closes on 23 October 2023.

The electronic copy of your tax certificate is recognised by the South African Revenue Service (SARS). To view your document, enter your 13-digit RSA Identity Number (ID) or your date of birth (in DDMMYYYY number format) in the password field.

To download your tax certificate:

Step 1: Click on Medical Aid
Step 2: Click on Document Library
Step 3: Click on Tax Certificate, select Year and Month.

Step 1: Type 'Hi' to start the conversation
Step 2: Select Option 1 (Member Self Service)
Step 3: Select Option 2 (Tax Certificate)
Step 4: Enter your membership number
Step 5: Enter your dependant code
Step 6: Enter the OTP code received via SMS.

Bonitas Member Zone:

Step 1: Log in
Step 2: Click on the Documents dropdown and tap on Documents
Step 3: Click on the Tax Certificate dropdown to view and download your tax certificate.

IVR:

Call us on 0860 002 108 and select the self-help option to request your tax certificate. Once you have completed the request, your tax certificate will be emailed to the email address we have on record for you within 24 hours. If your email address was changed recently, please update our records by emailing queries@bonitas.co.za or via WhatsApp by adding 0600 702 491 to your contact list, then type “Hi” to start chatting with Bonitas Medical Fund.
